The case of Carolina Flores Gómez, a 27-year-old former beauty queen, continues to generate public repercussions while investigations in Mexico City progress. In the last few hours, the dissemination of audiovisual material showing a previous conversation between the young woman and her mother-in-law put the issue back at the center of the debate, adding questions about what happened.

The event, recorded on April 15 in an apartment in Polanco, led to the opening of a case for intentional homicide, in charge of the Attorney General’s Office of Mexico City. Since then, the main suspect, identified as Érika “N”, remains at large, while the authorities try to locate her.
