When a loved one leaves, an intimate question often settles in silence: does the bond still exist? Does she feel us when we think of her, especially when we go to her grave? For many, the cemetery becomes a place charged with emotions, almost out of time. For others, it remains too painful to face. What if, beyond habits and rituals, the essential was played out elsewhere, in a more subtle and deeply personal space?
The cemetery, a symbolic place above all
In many spiritual traditions, the grave is not considered to be the place where the loved one really “resides”. The body rests there, of course, but the essence of the person would not be limited to a specific place. The idea often comes up: what made a person so rich – his emotions, his sensitivity, his energy – does not disappear with the body.
The cemetery then becomes a symbolic anchor point. A place where you can sit, breathe, let your heart speak. It’s not so much the place that matters, but the intention with which you go there.
What are the dead people who visit your room?
