In Montreal, the Planetarium will not be holding a large gathering like in 2024, due to the low percentage of obscuration. However, telescopes equipped with solar filters will be available for visitors who wish to observe the eclipse.
Never look at the Sun without protection.
Even if part of the Sun is hidden, it is dangerous to look directly at it without proper protection.
Experts remind us that certified eclipse glasses or a suitable solar filter must be used. Glasses kept from the 2024 eclipse can be reused if they are in good condition.
